Maria Barbeau

I am a recently-engaged (through a rigged game of Boggle!) marketing designer, living in Brooklyn and working in Manhattan. Originally from the Northwest corner of CT, I find myself living in the "Big City" somewhat reluctantly—except on weekends when the pace is slower and I can actually enjoy myself.

I am a mother of two: a bichon mix puppy named Chewy, and a cockatiel we call Petrie. When I'm not chasing Chewy around the apartment during one of his destructive "blitz" sessions, I'm usually at the computer writing or surfing the net, or reading voraciously with a tall mug of tea by my side.
